Early morning at around 0400am - 0430 am (subject to clear weather) for visit to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts) to view the sunrise over mighty Kanchendzonga Peak (Third highest peak in the world). On the way back & visit Batasia Loop.
After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of local Darjeeling covering Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays) and Panoramic tour of Tea Estate. After breakfast excursion trip to Lamahatta Eco Park, is situated at an elevation of around 5,700 feet at a distance of 23kms from Darjeeling. It takes more than an hour to reach Lamahatta from Darjeeling in the car. Even though it's only a little town where cultivating and cattle raising are the main sources of work, Lamahatta is very much associated with the Darjeeling-Kalimpong state roadway. After that visit Peshok Tea Garden. On the way back visit Takdah Forest & Tinchuley. Overnight at Hotel. DARJEELING
